Also features what permits are required and the phone numbers of the people you need to talk with to travel into Aboriginal Lands, find out road information etc. Beautiful photos, well written and containing the Bush Tucker Guide in the back of the book featuring 175 species with color photo, distribution map, description, how to find and uses information.
A spectacular, big & information rich book essential for anyone travelling into the top end or who has an interest in the tropical half of our country. The Bush Tucker Field Guide is the companion book, as is the Bush Tucker Map & Guide also available through the bushtuckershop.
Good Points: Faultlessly published, wonderful inspiring pictures, entertaining reading, good maps and contact information for anyone travelling up north.
Not so Good Points: Hard to fault it, very true to its title.
Overall: Essential for all fans of the Bush Tucker Man and for anyone travelling up north with an interest in Bush Foods, Cultural and Natural history. Maps are of good detail and refer to their 1:20K topo equivelent.
