Roast Macadamia Nuts with Pepperberry & Lemon Myrtle 100g

$11.95

Delicious buttery Macadamias roasted in our bakehouse are dusted with rare native spices grown on our farm at Kurrajong Heights.

Pepperberries Tasmannia lanceolata give a zingy peppery kick to the delightful citrussy notes from Lemon Myrtle Backhousia citriodora. We also use them to make gin!

Our Mac Nuts are from a small farmers co-op in northern NSW. We have about 50 trees growing on our farm but they do not produce enough nuts yet.

Below are some of the Pepperberries growing on our farm they were planted in 2024 and started fruiting in 2026. They are a very primitive plant and the plants are either male or female. We dry the berries in our dehydrators and also use the leaf to make Mountain Pepper Spice. In the rainforest on our farm we have thousands of Pepperberries growing naturally but they are a slightly different species Tasmannia insipida or Brush Pepperberry.

We have over 500 Lemon Myrtle growing on our farm and we also this amazing spice for our chocolates, cookies and seasonings.

Below is Lee with the Brush Pepperbush growing in the rainforest on our farm.

Brush Pepperbush has a larger fruit and the leaf is not as peppery so we grow the colder climate Pepperberry on the farm for commercial use and leave the ones in our rainforest alone :)
